Butter Boy:
I made two of these, and it was really fun mainly because of the intended recipients. I have two daughters, four and six, who are the best fans a knifemaker could have. They always ask to see what I am doing and like to hold each knife before I sharpen it. I wanted to make something for them, but I had a dilemma as what to make. My first thought was make a nice knife and save it for when they are older... but what's the fun in that? I wanted something they could use and then I realized a butter knife would be perfect. They both love their knives, and they get to use them often.
